30-Day Blog Challenge: Bible Verse You Live By

I remember when I was in studying, every school year you have to write your motto. ¨Time is Gold¨ is indeed one of the most famous motto. And even in every beauty pagent, mottos are one of the most well thought of every contestants.

I never thought how important it was back then. I did not think how much it could help a person. If you do not live by it, then it is useless. And I never saw people reflecting on it.

But as time goes by, specially when I became a Christian. I started holding unto this one bible verse. Yes, a bible verse. Because I believe, the summary of all mottos in life is a bible verse. And it is indeed more reasonable to hold unto God´s words than just a phrase created by human.

¨33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.¨
- Matthew 6:33

A person without God is useless. I met a lot of successful persons in life, but they still say that they are not happy. No matter how rich and successful they are, there is always something that lacks.

Others are working so hard but they never achieve what they trully want. Even they do everything they know, they feel like it is not enough.

And yes, I experience those things as well. No matter how hard I try, I never achieved what I wanted. No matter what I have, materially, I was never happy and satisfied.

Then one day, when I was reading my bible, I read this bible verse. And it hits me. Started from that day, I was focused of God. I kept praising Him through singing and dancing, I kept reading His words because I really wanna know God, his Kingdom and His righteousness, I kept on praying.

I surrendered everything to Him. God is my Hope, God is my happines, God is my everything. I did not received what I wanted, but I received what God wanted for me. He taught he how to be satisfied and greatful. He taught me how important life is and how should I live so I can make Him happy.

Life without God is meaningless. So make sure, live your life with God. He is our provider so do not worry. He will give you everything you need and He has the best plans for you.

May God bless you and your family!
